Want to make a difference in the lives of Lycoming County’s homeless pets? Become a volunteer! Volunteers are always in high demand and provide enormous benefits to the pets.
To encourage new volunteers, a Volunteer Shadowing program has begun. The program runs Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m (other days can be set up upon request). You will have the chance to shadow a volunteer with cats, dogs, or small animals (guinea pigs, etc) for an hour or more. This is a wonderful opportunity to see how awesome it is to volunteer your time and a great way to meet fantastic volunteers and some amazing animals. For more information or to schedule time with one of our fantastic volunteers, please email Amy Thompson at athompson@lycomingspca.org.
Check out this video to learn why others chose to volunteer, how it has impacted them, and how you can join.
