DESCRIPTION:You are invited! \nMeet Prim\, just one of the 50+ guinea pigs that the Lycoming County SPCA has received since mid-April.  He is all decked out and ready to party\, to soirée\, in fact. \nAfter seeing the large number of guinea pigs at the shelter\, some of our hardy volunteers stepped up and decided to throw a “virtual guinea pig soirée” to raise awareness of the guinea pigs available and to bring in supplies to assist with their care.  We invite you to join us for the next month as we throw a virtual piggie party! \nHighlights Include: \n\nFeatured Guinea Pig of the Week\, complete with tantalizing personality profiles and photos\nWeekly guinea pig facts and tidbits\nAn Amazon wish list created just for the piggies at the shelter.  We also welcome walk-in donations.\n\nLet us spoil these piggies and give them an amazing month of loving.  A big thank you to our volunteers who have put so much thought\, time\, and dedication towards this endeavor.  We couldn’t do it without you! \nView the Amazon Wish List \nView the Piggies Available for Adoption

SUMMARY:The Quilt Raffle - Ticket Sales Begin Today!
DESCRIPTION:Introducing a new raffle for 2018!\n\n\n \n\n\nTake home this beautiful quilt\, hand-made by SPCA friend Ann Kline. The quilt is approximately 4′ x 4′\, making it a wonderful lap or hanging quilt. A colorful array of cats is pictured throughout the quilt\, along with stars and brightly-colored fabrics. The raffle runs now through December 3rd.\n\n\n \n\n\nRaffle Ticket Prices:\n\n\n$2.00 each | 3 for $5.00\n\n\n \n\n\nTickets may be purchased at the Lycoming County SPCA or at our upcoming events.\n\n\n \n\n\nAll proceeds benefit the SPCA. The winning ticket will be drawn Monday\, December 3rd at noon.

DESCRIPTION:*UPDATE*  This event was originally scheduled for May 19th\, but was postponed due to conditions on the golf course. The new date is Sunday\, July 15th.* \n— \nEnjoy golf? Love animals? Putts Fore Paws may be just the event for you. \nEnjoying its 2nd year\, Putts Fore Paws is a charity golf tournament for the benefit of the Lycoming SPCA. Held at White Deer Golf Complex\, Putts Fore Paws consists of a 4-person scramble. There will be three divisions: Men\, Women and Mixed Foursomes. (The number of places paid depends on the number of participants). $75.00 per player covers all required fees and includes morning coffee\, goodies\, and a luncheon. Skill prizes will be awarded for “closest to the pin” and others (TBA). \nRegistration & Coffee: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. \nShotgun Start: 9:00 a.m. \nRegister by July 12th \nSponsor a hole at the Tournament \nWe give a big thank you to Barb Michael for putting this event together for us.
