DESCRIPTION:‘Tis the Season for the animals at the SPCA! We are again asking for donations of toys and enrichment products to make our furry friends happy! \nWhy a Toy Drive? \n#1. We would LOVE to see every animal have a cozy kennel with a fuzzy blanket and a special present on Christmas morning. We will even live stream everything so you can see how much your donations are appreciated! \n#2. This Toy Drive sets up our stock of toys for a large part of the whole next year! Our Staff and Volunteers love up on the furballs as much as we can\, but they have so much down time that they need enrichment products like Nylabones\, Cat Scratchers\, and Chew Toys to help pass the time in the shelter and help keep their stress levels down! \nSounds Awesome! How Do I Donate? \n#1. An Amazon wish list has been set up. You can even choose to ship directly to the Lycoming County SPCA (how easy!) \nView Amazon Wish List \n#2. We have a couple of amazing local businesses partnering with us to be “Donation Drop-Offs.” Please see check out C&C Grooming and Gustonian Gifts! \n#3. The Lycoming County SPCA! Stop in\, drop off a toy\, and say hello! \nStay Tuned Throughout December \nWe will be posting updates and pictures of the animals getting ready for Christmas on our Facebook page. It typically raises over $1\,500\, providing much-needed funds as we seek to provide top-level care for Lycoming County’s homeless pets. \nDonations of items can be dropped off now through Friday\, May 3. We kindly request no clothing\, TVs\, or other outdated technology\, please. \nThe event itself will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday\, May 4\, and wrap up at 1:00 p.m. at the Lycoming County SPCA. Buck a Bag will begin at 12:00 p.m. Any sized bag welcome! There is always quite a selection of unique and useful items. We encourage you to come out and support your region’s only privately-funded\, full-service shelter! \nPlease note: the SPCA does not open for regular shelter business until 10:00 a.m.\, but the yard sale does begin at 8:00 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:Have fun at our annual\, unique 2.5-mile run/walk and 5-mile run to benefit the Lycoming County SPCA. Our course caters to runners\, walkers\, and pet/human teams who all participate together on the same course. The course loops through the South Williamsport Community Park and Little League International’s baseball stadiums. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. the day of\, with the race kicking off at 9:00 a.m. \nBoth the 2.5 and 5-mile run contain a short but steep climb up and around Little League International’s Headquarters and back down for an unforgettable view that makes the climb all worthwhile. The course offers water stations for humans and dogs and dog waste disposal receptacles along the course. \nOnline pre-registration will remain open until Wednesday\, April 10th\, 2019 at 12 noon. Pre-registration costs: $25/individual\, $40 per family of up to 3 family members. Register by March 30th\, 2019 to be guaranteed a technical race shirt for participating humans and a Paws Run bandana for participating dogs. \nOn-site Registration: $30/individual\, $45 per family of up to 3 family members. \nRegister Online

Buck a bag begins at 12:00 p.m. Any size bag is welcome! There is always quite a selection of unique and useful items.
