Above: Hector visits Harley Davidson.

Three “hunky” birthday boys were each treated to a special day out this month.  Hector, Tippy, and Tyson are three of our longest residents looking for a forever home. Volunteers sought to make each dog’s birthday at the shelter a special one.  Read below to see where their adventures took them.

Hector’s Big Day Out

Hector began his day by visiting The Print Shoppe with mother-daughter volunteers Melanie and Anika.

Next, he visited Harley Davidson.

It was announced over the loudspeaker as he came in, “Hector is here!”

What a handsome stud. Hector turned 8 years old this month. October also marks 2 years at the kennel for him.

Hector finished off his day with Bruster’s ice cream!

Tippy’s Big Day Out

Smart Tippy began his day at Otto Bookstore.

Bellying up to a good book with volunteer Roxann.

The stylish Tippy also visited Gustonian Gifts.

Boom City Brewing Company was up next.

After a brief stop at the City Hall Grand Hotel…

Tippy wrapped up his day with a Starbucks’ puppucino.

Tyson’s Big Day Out

Sweet Tyson began his day out at the gym. (Don’t worry, his adorable love handles are still there.)

Enjoying pets at Fitness Factory.

Next, he swang by the Thomas T Taber Museum with volunteer Deb.

Enjoying fall decor with volunteer Amy.

Along with an evening stroll in Brandon Park,

Tyson swang by Backhouse Cafe Coffee & Tea.

The pleasant fellow finished off his night at Starbucks with a puppucino.
